The Boomer Show with Brian Christie is regularly seen across the country from New York to Los Angeles. The network high definition TV show for Baby Boomers is a fun-filled hour of entertainment, and information about a plethora of subjects, recognizing 80 million boomers born between the mid 1940’s and the mid 1960’s. Although, research says the program is being enjoyed across all ages and demographics.

The program has the talk show appeal that is reminiscent of Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin and Mike Douglas. Besides good old rock n roll music, provided by bandleader Mario Olivares and The Boomer Show Band, subjects and segment topics range from travel and lifestyle to health, investments and retirement.

Brian Christie is a news anchor on the Fox television affiliate in San Diego. After spending almost a decade as one of CNN’s primary anchors, Christie landed in San Diego in 1995. His dream was to create a program that reminded Boomers of the fun that TV used to be. In 2005, Brian approached locally based Wealth TV about starting the weekly program. A year later, The Boomer Show was launched in several million homes. Today, the program has become popular to viewers as a family-friendly show appealing to all ages. “The show is designed to serve the Boomers, but what has happened is that we are touching all demo’s,” says Christie.

Shotgun Tom Kelly, top announcer K-Earth 101 in Los Angeles, says “it’s about time someone paid attention to the boomers. They have been ignored for much too long. I knew someone would eventually come along and put together a top-notch show to serve this massive audience.” Kelly says, “Christie is the perfect host for the show. Brian has such an incredible background in media. Not only was he a CNN anchor for many years, where he did countless network interviews and TV shows, he spent years as on the radio as a boss jock and was even a rock n roll singer and recording artist.” Indeed, as a singer and guitarist, Christie spent his youth, on tour, as the opening act for popular rock groups like The Beach Boys, The Rascals and The Dave Clark Five.” He recorded for the legendary Sun Records and Roulette Records, among other companies.

“Brian’s been on stage since he was a kid,” says veteran television executive Dean Harris. “When you stop to think about it, he is the perfect Boomer. He went through all the boomer life experiences, including music, media and information.” Harris adds, “with his folksy, friendly style, and vast experience, he’s an incredible host for The Boomer Show. He makes the guests comfortable and the show comes together very nicely.”

Chubby Checker, who was a recent guest on the show, says “Brian’s a cool guy, looks good and knows our culture and the boomer generation. He even knew Fabian, Frankie Avalon and Bobby Rydell. The guy’s been there. He gets it.” Legendary Pop Singer Rita Coolidge says, “I’ve known Brian for a long time. He is the real deal and a very talented interviewer. He’s very passionate about Boomers.”

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Ray Lucia adds, “The Boomer Show is a huge hit…. How can you miss? It’s fun, great information and it’s Rock n Roll, baby.”
